Happy New year !!!!!!!!!!!
It is 2009.
And as shouts and bangs ushered in the New year, i can't but think again, it's another New Year. Each year comes with high expectations and this year i have a long list of what i want to do,
then,i thought to myself..............
You only get one chance at life
Days of peace, days of strife
Challenges to face, jobs to do
Continous pressure all the way through
Begin with a vision of whats ahead
Of what you want before you'r dead
Determine the steps along the way
Of what you want to accomplish each day
Watch out for detours that you will face
They're always there to slow you pace
Temptations which lead to forbiddens
Trials tempting you to give up on God
Open your eyes so you can see
The person that God wants you to be
See yourself as the winner you are
The vision itself will take you far
Then get into action the time is now
I'll do it today should be your vow
Say no to the emotion that we call fear
Determine the task and get into gear
Get your goals clearly in view
Then discipline yourself in what you do
Allow good habits to shape your life
To keep you on target in the midst of strife
Let go of your past its is behind you now
It cant be recaptured anyhow
Today is the day that you can be great
If you will learn how to concentrate
Your mind is an asset that has no peer
Dont fill it with Junk, keep it clear
Keep feeding your mind all your life through
It will give direction in all that you do
Because life is tough you will fail now and then
Pick yourself up and try again
Move past your failure, face the next thing
No failure is final for a child of the King
Remember that many around you are down
Discouraged from being knocked around
They still have many challenges to meet
A kind word will get them back on their feet
Excellence does not come to the man who alone
Tries to do everything on his own
Life is best when it is faced by a pair
A person and God Brought together in prayer
We need that message when life has us on hold
When the burdens of life get too heavy to bear
Remember the others with whom you can share
God has made you to be your best
He is not satisfied with anything less
With your heart commited and your head bowed
Dare to rise above the crowd
Dont be like the rest

BE THE BEST
All of a sudden, the strenght to climb mountains this year comes into me, the knowledge that i am carefully made by God at this time, at the moment to take my place in destiny, I am special, and you can be very much special if you keep telling yourself you can be the best.
